Tawqir Ahmed, father of renowned singer and political leader Jawad Ahmed, associated with the Pakistan music industry, passed away.
The singer announced the death of his father by sharing a post on social networking website Facebook on Saturday. He wrote that my father Professor Tauqeer Ahmed passed away today in Lahore. Jawad Ahmed also reported in the post about his father’s funeral prayer and burial which took place on Sunday.
Jawad Ahmed’s post does not mention the reason for his father’s death. On the other hand, social media users and showbiz personalities are expressing grief over the news of the death of Jawad Ahmed’s father and expressing condolences to the singer and his family. It should be noted that the deceased has left behind 1 daughter and 3 sons.
