Mahira Khan reacts to Saba Qamar’s Karachi statement

‘Superstar’ Mahira Khan has said that she thinks people misunderstood actress Saba Qamar’s statement about Karachi, the capital of Sindh is like a ‘mother’ who welcomes everyone with open arms.

Mahira Khan expressed her views on Karachi to a question from journalists at a recent event and she supported Saba Qamar without mentioning her name.

Journalists asked her what she thought about Karachi? Some people don’t even want to come to this city? At the same time, journalists said that she did not mention Saba Qamar’s name.
In response to the question, Mahira Khan said that Karachi is her own city and home, her ancestors were from here, this is her grandmother’s house, this city is very lovely.

According to her, she was born in Karachi, grew up in it, she likes this city very much and that everyone likes their city, because everyone has their grandfather, grandmother, grandfather, grandmother’s house there, everyone has memories associated with this city.

According to Mahira Khan, if she is asked what Karachi is in her eyes? Then she will say that this city is like a ‘mother’.

She said that Karachi is like a mother who welcomes everyone with open arms, it loves people like a mother and gives people a lot, people take a lot from here but some people also do bad things to this city, yet this city forgives the mistakes of these bad people like a mother.

The actress said that she likes Lahore very much like Karachi, what is it about this city, that city is the city of Allama Iqbal, one feels adopted there, it is a city of literature and culture.

Without naming Saba Qamar, Mahira Khan said that she thinks the actress’s statement was misunderstood and taken as wrong, everyone loves their own city.

According to her, this is our country and we love all its cities, Karachi is like a mother to everyone.
