Actress and dancer Shefali Jariwala’s sudden death has shocked the Indian film industry. Her fans are still in deep shock and sadness.

While many people are expressing grief over Shefali’s unexpected death, a new controversy started when Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat posted a video on social media.

In the video posted just one day after Shefali’s death, Mallika spoke against the trend of using Botox and cosmetic fillers. Because of this, she faced criticism.

Many people called her video insensitive and said that it was posted at the wrong time.

One of the strongest voices against Mallika was actress Rakhi Sawant, who criticized her for seemingly targeting the late Shefali.

On June 29, 2025, 48-year-old Mallika posted a selfie video. In it, she wished her fans good morning and shared her experience of waking up and making a video. She said she had no makeup, no filter, and had not even brushed her hair. She explained that she made the video to say no to Botox and cosmetic fillers, and yes to natural and healthy living.

But Rakhi did not find this message appropriate, especially because it is known that she herself has taken skin treatments.

This came after the police found out that Shefali used Vitamin C and Glutathione for skin care. In response, Rakhi posted her own selfie video and strongly criticized Mallika.

Rakhi said, what is this? Now Mallika Sherawat is saying she is natural and that Botox caused something to happen to Shefali. How do we know that? The forensic report and doctors will tell what really happened.

Rakhi also said, Mallika Sherawat, don’t take advantage of this situation. If you cannot help someone, don’t harm them either. You are showing your face and acting like you are so beautiful.

Then she started singing the famous song picturized on Mallika, bheege hont tere, pyasa dil mera, kabhi mere saath ek raat guzaar. She continued by saying that Mallika has spent many nights like this and that is how she settled in America. So she should not talk about others.
