Singer Asim Azhar responded to the viral video of his former fiancée and actress Meerab Ali attending his concert. Recently a video was circulating on various showbiz social media pages claiming to be from Asim Azhar’s recent concert.
In the video Asim Azhar can be seen singing his song “Dosti Aisa Nata” while his former fiancée Meerab Ali is also seen enjoying the concert.
The video led to renewed speculation about their relationship.
Asim Azhar clarified the matter on Instagram Stories saying that the video is old and he is upset with misleading reporting by some showbiz pages.
He addressed these pages respectfully asking them not to mislead the public by posting old videos. He said they should report responsibly and provide proper context.
According to him these pages together have millions of followers and they have a responsibility to share correct information. He asked them to research before posting and not share videos without context just to get likes or increase reach.
He ended his statement sarcastically saying that it is not like he is not already giving enough content so what was the point of this.
It is worth noting that Asim Azhar and Meerab Ali got engaged at a family event in 2022 but separated in 2025 three years later.
