Mishi Khan strongly reacts to Talha Anjum hoisting the Indian flag

Pakistani actress and host Mishi Khan has reacted strongly to singer Talha Anjum waving the Indian flag during a Nepal concert and justifying it.

Mishi Khan said in her Instagram video message that it seems that fame has gone to your (Talha Anjum) mind, our people lack self-respect that we do such things.

Mishi Khan said that Pakistani artists talk about love and peace, but holding and waving the Indian flag is not appropriate at all, especially at a time when Pakistan is constantly insulted by India.

She said that an Indian fan handed her the flag and you immediately waved it, placed it on your shoulder, and even kissed it. If an Indian artist had done the same, the results would have been completely different.

According to Mishi Khan, giving a message of peace is a good thing, but one should not sacrifice self-respect in its name. Talha Anjum should have just thanked her for taking the flag and put it aside.
While social media users are supporting Mishi Khan in large numbers, Talha Anjum is facing severe criticism. According to fans, the singer’s action was “against self-respect” and “overly flattering”.

It may be recalled that Talha Anjum not only waved the Indian flag during a performance in Nepal, but also kissed it and placed it on his shoulder and said that “art has no borders”.

Videos of this incident are viral on social media and the singer is facing continuous backlash.
