Former Pakistani model Rubab Masood faced backlash for criticizing and advising men about their way of sitting. Rubab Masood was once a leading name in the fashion industry due to her beauty and talent. She appeared in many fashion shows, TV commercials, and music videos. Her most popular TV appearance was in Junaid Jamshed’s song Hum Kyun Chalay Us Raah Par.

Recently, Rubab Masood appeared as a guest on a private TV morning show. During the show, she gave advice to men about sitting manners, but her advice backfired because of her own outfit and sitting style.

Talking on this topic, Rubab Masood said that when men sit, no matter how educated or well-off they are, they often sit in the wrong way. They cross one leg over the other, and the foot usually ends up pointing towards someone’s face. They also keep shaking their foot, which is very disrespectful. How can someone sit like this? It is insulting to the other person.

Although her advice was good, it brought criticism on social media because of her own clothing and posture. On the show, she was wearing tight jeans with a short shirt above the knees, and she herself was sitting in the same cross-leg style.

One user wrote that sitting in a cross-leg position never looks decent. Another user said that the one teaching manners to others is herself sitting in the wrong way and wearing revealing clothes. A third user commented that she herself is not right in any way, but when it comes to men, she wants everything to be perfect, calling her a cheap feminist.
