Actress Nadia Afghan shared an Instagram story where she expressed sadness over social attitudes. She said that when she dies she will write in her will that no food should be served at her funeral.
Nadia wrote this based on her personal experience when her father passed away. She said that after her father’s death the thing that hurt her most was when the colony in charge came to her and the first thing he asked was about arranging chairs tents and food.
Nadia Afghan said that on that day she stayed busy till late at night managing food and guests while she herself was in deep pain and grief. She added that instead of showing sympathy or sharing sorrow people focused more on traditional arrangements.
The actress said that this experience deeply affected her and she does not want such a situation to happen again when she dies. That is why she will write in her will that no food should be served after her death. She said whoever wants to come can come and whoever does not want to come should stay away.
