Senior Pakistani actress Nadia Jamil has advised parents to focus on raising their sons well and said that instead of watching the daughter-in-law, they should keep an eye on their sons.

In a recent interview, Nadia Jamil said that her son is about to get engaged, and God willing, he will get married next year. She added that when her daughter-in-law comes home, it will be her responsibility to make sure that no injustice is done to her.

She said that instead of keeping a sharp eye on the daughter-in-law, she will watch her son closely to make sure he is not hurting her or making her feel less in her new home.

The actress said that a daughter-in-law is not a guest in the house, it is her own home. So, it is the mother-in-law’s job to make her feel comfortable and welcome when she comes into the house.

She also said that in our society, it is very important to create awareness among mothers to raise their sons well. They should teach their sons that a woman’s freedom is her right. This right was first given by Allah to the father as a trust, and after marriage, it becomes the husband’s responsibility to protect that trust.

Nadia Jamil said that mothers should teach their sons to build a relationship with their wives based on understanding and to take decisions together through discussion.
