Bollywood’s Dabangg star Salman Khan is one of the few actors who successfully moved from films to television. Along with movies, he won hearts through popular TV shows like Dus Ka Dum and Bigg Boss.

Today, he is considered one of India’s most successful TV hosts. Now, there is exciting news for Salman Khan’s fans.

According to Indian media, reliable sources have confirmed that talks between Salman Khan and the team of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) are in the final stages. There is a strong chance that Salman may replace Amitabh Bachchan as the host of this popular quiz show.

Sources say Salman is the king of small-screen entertainment, and if Amitabh is stepping away, there is no better choice than Salman to connect with viewers, especially those from rural and small towns.

Shah Rukh Khan has also hosted KBC before. If everything goes well, Salman Khan could return to TV screens with a bang.

Talks are currently focused on financial terms, and once settled, viewers may soon see Salman Khan hosting KBC on Sony TV.

Sources also shared that Amitabh Bachchan, who has been hosting KBC since 2000, will not return for the next season due to personal reasons.

Kaun Banega Crorepati is a historic and highly successful quiz show on Indian TV. It first aired in 2000.

When Amitabh Bachchan started hosting, his film career was down, but the success of season one brought him back into the spotlight.

He hosted the second season too, but had to step down due to health issues. Shah Rukh Khan then hosted season 3.

Due to public demand, Amitabh returned in season 4 and continued as the host up to season 16, which aired last year.

In the show, everyday people are asked general knowledge questions, and the prize money increases with every correct answer. If they answer all questions correctly, they can win one crore rupees or more.

Amitabh’s voice, style, and personality gave KBC a unique identity. If Salman Khan becomes the new host, the show will have a fresh look.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan will also continue to host the next season of Bigg Boss and is set to begin shooting for a new film directed by Apoorva Lakhia in July.
