The match between Pakistan and Afghanistan in their One Day series in Sri Lanka Friday night got very hot. They nearly had the victory in the bag after a series of unfair playing techniques and strange aggression from the Afghan side, followed by an unfair out for Shadab Khan, but Naseem Shah came along and won the match for Pakistan with an incredible four, to the delight of the entire nation.
After winning the game, Naseem Shah said wished his mother could be present to witness his success. This was his one and only request. He was obviously moved, and his followers could see it. The entire dressing room was jumping and cheering for Naseem as he celebrated the victory in his own unique way.
