Famous Pakistani actress and host Nausheen Shah spoke openly about the politics in the showbiz industry. Recently, she appeared on a Geo News program where she answered interesting questions from both the host and the audience.
During the interview, a fan asked her if there is politics in the showbiz industry just like in other fields.
Answering the fan’s question, Nausheen Shah said that yes, there is politics in showbiz, but more than politics, favoritism is common. Some people are chosen for roles while others are ignored.
The host, Tabish Hashmi, then asked her if it is true that there are no real friendships in showbiz. He said that usually people make true friends in childhood, but not during their careers. He asked if real friendships exist in the industry.
Replying to him, she said that there are many friendships in the industry. She gave examples like Hania Aamir, who is very close to Wajahat Rauf and Shazia Wajahat’s children, and also Moomal Sheikh and Hasan Rizvi.
Tabish then asked her who her best friend in the industry is.
Without thinking, Nausheen Shah took Zara Tareen’s name and said Zara and Anoushey Ashraf supported her a lot during tough times. She also said she is good friends with Ania Aamir.
