Famous Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has filed a defamation suit of Rs 100 crore against his brother Shamsuddin and ex-wife Alia Siddiqui (Anjana Pandey).
The case filed by Nawazuddin through advocate Sunil Kumar was mentioned before a bench of Justice Riaz Chagla, which will be heard on March 30.
The court was requested to issue an injunction to stop Nawazuddin’s ex-wife and brother from defaming him.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui requested the court to direct his brother and ex-wife not to post defamatory content against me on their social media platforms and withdraw the allegations leveled against me in writing for defaming me. Apologize too.
He claimed that he had suffered a loss of more than 100 crores due to false allegations which should be redressed.
The actor requested the court to return Rs 21 crore stolen by his brother through fraud along with his ex-wife.
It should be noted that actors Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Alia Siddiqui got married in 2010 and they have two sons Shoora and Yani.
There were differences between Nawazuddin and his wife in 2018 as well, Alia Siddiqui even approached the court for divorce.
