Spanish-American singer Victoria Canal has accused a very powerful figure in the music industry of sexual harassment.
Victoria, who was born without the lower part of her right arm, shared shocking claims in a long Instagram post that has caught everyone’s attention.
She wrote that she had never spoken about this matter publicly before and now after eight years she was finally sharing it. She said the incident badly affected her body soul and mind.
Without mentioning a name she revealed that on her 27th birthday she wanted to free herself by sharing that when she was 19 and looking for an opportunity to start her career a very powerful man in the music industry sexually exploited her touched her inappropriately and took photos without her consent.
She added that she was threatened that if she spoke out her career would be destroyed. According to Victoria this abuse caused her severe mental stress but therapy later helped her to cope.
