The year 2025 is rapidly coming to an end with bitter and sweet memories. While this year proved to be a good one for many actors, there were many bright stars who left their fans forever and died in the dust.
Among the actors who passed away from the Pakistani showbiz industry this year, the deaths of two were such that they shocked everyone.
The body of senior drama industry actress Ayesha Khan, who was several days old, was found in her flat in the Gulshan-e-Iqbal area of Karachi on June 20, 2025. According to the police, a neighbor informed them about the stench, and when the door of the flat was broken open, a festering body was found inside.
Then, on July 8, the unidentified body of Humaira Asghar was found in a flat in the Defense area of Karachi. The medical report revealed that she died on October 7, and the body was 9 months old, while her burial was held on July 11 in her hometown of Lahore.
The police investigated the incident and declared the death as natural, describing it as mysterious.
The first showbiz star to pass away in 2025 was comedian Javed Kodo. He bid farewell to his fans in a state of mourning after an illness in April 2025.
In his last interview, he mentioned the lack of support from his colleagues and said, I was hoping that my friends would come to my aid, but maybe they are also worried because of inflation. Another comedian, theatre, TV, and film star, Lucky Dear, passed away on September 30, 2025, after a prolonged illness.
The 60-year-old artist had been suffering from lung disease and diabetes for the past eight months and had been undergoing treatment at Mayo Hospital in Lahore for quite some time.

On November 4, 2025, renowned producer and distributor Chaudhry Kamran Ijaz, a respected figure in the Pakistani film industry, passed away. He had suffered from a brain hemorrhage some time ago and then passed away in the same condition.
