After a long political and constitutional battle by Indian Muslims, Pakistan arrived on the international map 76 years ago. To create this homeland, Quaid e Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah and Muslims of the subcontinent made numerous sacrifices. Even though Pakistan’s true ideal has yet to be realized, Pakistanis continue to color the country green and white in order to express their desire to always love their homeland. The 14th of August 2023 is Pakistan’s 77th Independence Day, and the cities and villages are lighted green. On the 13th, everyone was out celebrating till late at night.
