Veteran actor Paresh Rawal has officially confirmed that he is back in the third part of the hit comedy series Hera Pheri. He said that everything has been sorted out.

Earlier in May this year, Paresh had surprised fans by announcing that he was leaving the project. This third part of the movie was supposed to bring him back together with Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and director Priyadarshan. Fans were disappointed to hear the news of his exit.

After that, reports came out that Akshay Kumar, who is also one of the producers through his company Cape of Good Films, filed a lawsuit worth Rs 25 crore.

Now, Paresh Rawal has made it clear that he is once again part of the film. He shared this update during a podcast with Himanshu Mehta.

He said, “The movie was supposed to happen earlier too. But we needed to fix a few things. Everyone involved – Priyadarshan, Akshay, and Suniel – are creative people and close friends for many years.”

Talking about the legal issue, Paresh said there is no controversy now.

He added, “When people love something so much, we should be more careful and responsible. The audience has given us a lot of love, and we should work hard and give them a good film. I just wanted all of us to come together and give our best. That’s all. Everything is fine now.”

The first Hera Pheri movie came out in 2000. It followed the fun adventures of three very different men: Baburao Apte (played by Rawal), a kind but funny garage owner; Raju (Akshay Kumar), a clever loafer; and Shyam (Suniel Shetty), a jobless but honest man.

The sequel, Phir Hera Pheri, was released in 2006 and directed by Neeraj Vora. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the third part ever since.
