Bollywood’s favorite couple Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa made their first public appearance after recently announcing their pregnancy.
Talking about their relationship, the two dated for several years before getting married on 15 November 2021. Their wedding took place at The Oberoi Sukhvilas Spa Resort in Chandigarh, following traditional Hindu customs. Close friends and family attended the event. Now, after three and a half years of marriage, the couple has shared the happy news that they are expecting their first child.
After the announcement on social media, fans of Raj and Patralekhaa were seen expressing their joy. Their first public appearance as parents-to-be quickly became popular among fans.
In a video going viral on Instagram, Patralekhaa is seen walking while holding Rajkummar Rao’s hand. Her cute baby bump caught everyone’s attention and was loved by fans.
In the viral Instagram video, Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa can be seen making their first public appearance after announcing their pregnancy. Both were dressed in formal outfits. Rajkummar wore a grey suit, while Patralekhaa looked elegant in a brown-toned formal dress suit. She posed for the paparazzi with her cute baby bump.
As soon as the video was shared on Instagram, it caught everyone’s attention. Fans filled the comments with good wishes for the couple’s new journey.
Earlier, Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa had shared their pregnancy news through a joint post on Instagram. The post showed a swing covered with flowers and leaves, along with the words “Baby on the way” and the caption “Elated.”
After their announcement, many Bollywood celebrities joined fans in congratulating the couple. These included Farah Khan, Neha Dhupia, Sonam Kapoor, Esha Gupta, Kiara Advani, Wamiqa Gabbi, Bhumi Pednekar, Pulkit Samrat, Manushi Chhillar, and Dia Mirza.
On the work front, Patralekhaa was recently seen in the film Phule, directed by Ananth Mahadevan. She starred alongside Pratik Gandhi and played the role of Savitribai Phule. The movie is a biopic on Jyotirao and Savitribai Phule.
Rajkummar Rao was last seen in the film Bhool Chook Maaf. He will next be seen playing a gangster in the upcoming film Malik, which is set to release on 11 July 2025.
