Stage actress and dancer Ruby Anam is facing criticism from showbiz personalities as well as social media users for her remarks about actress Bushra Ansari.
A few days ago, Ruby Anam made some inappropriate comments about Bushra Ansari during a podcast, which upset many in the industry.
In the podcast, when the host insisted she comment on several actresses including Mehwish Hayat, Sajal Aly, Hania Aamir, Bushra Ansari, and Asma Abbas, Ruby used disrespectful words for Bushra Ansari.
She said that Bushra Ansari is her favorite and she likes her a lot, but it would not be wrong to say that at this age she should take rest. She added that Bushra’s vlogs do not suit her and that she should fear God for still working at this age, since she is even older than their mothers.
Her remarks quickly drew strong reactions from fellow celebrities.
Actress Zhalay Sarhadi criticized her, calling Ruby’s behavior inappropriate, interfering, rude, and insulting. She questioned why people give such unnecessary opinions just to go viral and said it was shameful.
Mimya Shajaffar wrote that it is heartbreaking to see women always putting other women down.
Ghana Ali wrote briefly that she found Ruby Anam extremely rude, nothing more.
Mishi Khan reacted in detail through a video on Instagram, expressing disappointment and saying Ruby’s comments were highly disrespectful. She said it is Bushra Ansari’s own decision to act and vlog at her age. Mishi added that Bushra has maintained herself very well, but using such language and then claiming to like her is not right.
