Actress Saba Qamar is facing criticism on social media for her recent statement about Karachi. In a recent podcast, the host asked Saba Qamar if she would move to Karachi for work.
Saba replied, “Astaghfirullah, never, but maybe I should not say that because we never know about the future.” She added that she only goes to Karachi for work and returns right after.
Saba said she likes living in Lahore and Islamabad because she prefers houses instead of apartments. She also likes open spaces and gardens.
After her statement, many social media users reacted strongly. Some accused Saba Qamar of insulting Karachi. They said outsiders only come to the city to earn money and do not truly respect it.
