Pakistani dramas have a large popularity in India. Every week, we see a drama trending on YouTube in India, and dramas like Tere Bin, Kaisi Teri Khudgarzi, Mohabbar Gumshuda Meri, and, most recently, Ishq Murshid have done quite well in India, where Indian fans like Pakistani performers. Because of the large audiences for Humsafar and Zindagi Gulzar Hai, we were able to watch Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan collaborate with the crème of Bollywood. Abdullahpur Ka Devdas, the latest and first Pakistani drama to be shown on Indian television, launched on Zee Zindagi.
Sarah Khan speaks with India Today about how she discovered she was renowned in India. She stated that following her drama Sabaat, she began to receive numerous messages from India, and many Indians followed her on Instagram, which is when she discovered that she was renowned in India.
