Famous Pakistan Television personality and senior actor Uzair Abbasi passed away three days ago which left his fans deeply saddened.
Uzair Abbasi belonged to a creative family. His elder brother Zubair Abbasi was a well-known producer and director. His nephew Shamoon Abbasi is a popular actor writer and director.
During his career Uzair Abbasi played many famous roles. One of his memorable performances was as Rasheed Baba in Geo TV’s hit drama Inteqam. The drama became very popular among viewers and Uzair Abbasi’s performance was highly praised.
His clear Urdu speaking and emotional acting gave him great respect in the Pakistani television industry.
During his long career Uzair Abbasi worked in many successful dramas including Karachi Division (2021), Bashu (2023), Heer Ranjha (2012), and Khilona. His passionate acting and ability to bring life to his characters always caught the audience’s attention.
Shamoon Abbasi was very close to his uncle and expressed deep sorrow over his death.
Sharing his feelings in a Facebook post he wrote that his beloved uncle who guided encouraged and supported him like a friend is no longer in this world.
Shamoon Abbasi also requested fans to recite Surah Fatiha and pray for Uzair Abbasi’s soul.
