Former national team captain Shahid Khan Afridi said that he cannot lie on social media and make his children illegitimate

In a viral video on social media during an event Shahid Afridi was asked a question Social media spreads negative talk about you by a certain group even though you are our national hero and you stand with the true heroes of our country which earns you praise but people run negative campaigns against you and these heroes including you What is your opinion on this

Shahid Afridi responded that if I cared about such people I would never speak out I am not interested in gaining more likes or views by lying on social media My social media is not a source of my income

He said that I cannot lie on social media and make my children illegitimate That is why I do not use social media very much

The former national team captain said without naming anyone that there are some people who are registered liars They used to say that we will never leave Pakistan and even today their statements are on record But I saw myself in a video that a donkey was riding on another donkey

He added that what I mean is that liars sitting outside the country are creating trouble inside My question to them is what direction are you giving to the youth

Shahid Afridi addressed these people saying if you are so brave and patriotic then come to Pakistan and bring a revolution But do not mislead the youth Do not lie
