Actor, director, producer, and writer Shamoon Abbasi has finally opened up about a personal side of his life that he rarely talks about.

In an interview on a private TV channel, Shamoon Abbasi talked openly about his four marriages, three of which ended in divorce.

He said that neither he was a bad person nor were his wives at fault. The problem was that they just couldn’t continue together. Sometimes even two good people are not meant to stay together.

Shamoon explained that there was love between them, but their dreams were different. The main issue was having different goals in life.

He further said that his ex-wives Javeria Abbasi, Humaima Malik, and Javeria Randhawa wanted quick success, fame, and material things, while he believed in being patient and thought that success comes with time.

Shamoon admitted that compared to his ex-wives, he didn’t achieve as much. Javeria and Humaima built great careers, and he was left behind.

He added that he never said anything negative about any of his ex-wives. Instead, he always praised them and feels happy that they are doing well in their lives.

Shamoon also shared that he still has a friendly relationship with his ex-wives, and they even talk on the phone when needed.

Talking about his fourth wife, actress Sherry Shah, Shamoon said they have been married for five years now. He feels peaceful and satisfied. He believes he has finally found the harmony he had been searching for.

It is important to mention that Shamoon and Sherry Shah kept their marriage private for over two years and announced it in 2023.

Shamoon’s first marriage was with his cousin Javeria Abbasi in 1997. Before getting married, the couple had won first place in a talent show.

This was his longest marriage, but in 2009 they got divorced. Soon after, he married Humaima Malik.

His second marriage lasted only a year and ended in 2010. That same year, he married Javeria Randhawa.

His third marriage lasted for four years and ended in 2014. Six years later, in 2023, Shamoon Abbasi married actress Sherry Shah.
