Famous model and actress Humaira Asghar’s death has been the topic of many rumors and guesses for the past few days. Now, things have started to become clearer after a top officer of the Sindh Police made some important revelations.
DIG South Sindh Police Asad Raza recently spoke on the FHM podcast. He shared many important facts related to the actress’s death and also explained the police’s point of view on this sensitive matter.
Humaira Asghar, who became famous after joining Tamasha Season 1, was also active in modeling and drama industry.
Her dead body was found on July 8 this year in a flat in DHA, Karachi. It had been almost 9 months since her death, and her body was partly decomposed.
This incident shocked the whole country and led to a storm of rumors and accusations on social media.
During a podcast, DIG Asad Raza expressed sadness that whenever such sad news comes out, people quickly start blaming the character of the person who has died.
He clearly said that the police never judge anyone. Their job is only to provide justice and services.
According to the DIG, since the body was around 9 months old, it was very difficult to collect post-mortem or forensic evidence.
He said there were no blood stains at the scene and no broken bones in the body. This shows that there was no violence or force used at the time of death.
He also mentioned that although suicide or murder cannot be completely ruled out, current investigation suggests that it might be a natural death.
Further, after checking her mobile phone, police found no sign that she was being blackmailed in any way.
However, DIG Asad Raza did reveal that Humaira Asghar had filed a complaint at the police station that her WhatsApp account had been hacked. Action on that complaint was still going on.
He also said that no depression medicines were found in her flat, so it cannot be clearly said whether she was suffering from mental stress or not.
It is important to note that the mysterious death of actress Humaira Asghar not only shocked the showbiz industry but also raised questions on society’s negative behavior like criticism, blame, and spreading sensational news.
