Indian actress, singer, and music composer Shruti Haasan made an important statement about her marriage that caught the attention of her fans.
Shruti recently appeared in a podcast interview with popular Indian podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia. During the conversation, she openly talked about her personal and professional life.

She shared that she once had a relationship that almost reached the point of marriage, but due to misunderstandings between both sides, it ended before getting to that stage.
Talking about her relationship status, Shruti said that she is currently single and before entering any new relationship, she wants to learn how to be happy in her own company first.
She also said that she values commitment, loyalty, and all the qualities that are usually linked with marriage. However, she does not understand the idea of putting everything on a piece of paper.
It is important to mention that Shruti was in a relationship with popular doodle artist and illustrator Santanu Hazarika. In her interview, she said that their relationship had reached close to marriage, but it did not end because of her.
