Bollywood star actor Sidharth Malhotra’s father Sunil Malhotra has passed away. According to Indian media reports, the news of the death of actor Sidharth Malhotra’s father Sunil Malhotra was announced by his son himself through social media.
Sunil Malhotra died on February 14 in Delhi and actor Sidharth is currently in the Indian capital with his family after performing the last rites.
According to sources, Sunil Malhotra had been ill for a long time and had been suffering from an illness for a long time.
A person close to the actor has said that Sidharth was very close to his father and this loss is a big shock not only for him but for the entire family.
According to Indian media, family sources said that the last rites have been performed, however, the couple will spend some more time with their family in Delhi.
It should be remembered that former Merchant Navy Commander Sunil Malhotra was considered an important figure in Sidharth’s childhood and professional life.
Sidharth Malhotra also shared an emotional message for his father, in which he said that he was a man of exceptional integrity, principledness and civilization and he always lived with values that never wavered.
The actor further wrote that from being a Merchant Navy Captain commanding the seas to facing illness with quiet bravery, he never compromised while his spirits were always high despite being confined to a wheelchair due to stroke.
The Bollywood star wrote in his post, ‘Papa, your integrity is my legacy. Your strength guides me every day, your positive thinking still binds this family together but the void you have left is immeasurable.
He further said that whatever I am, I am because of you, and I will always carry your name, your values and your light forward.
