Senior actress Simi Raheal shared her thoughts about Pakistani award shows and said that these awards are actually fake and have nothing to do with merit.
She recently appeared on Suno News and talked about the reality of award shows in Pakistan.
Simi said that these events are not real awards but public gatherings that are sometimes held in Pakistan and sometimes abroad.
She explained that every TV channel has its own award show which is based on favoritism and personal liking. There is no fairness or merit in them.
Simi Raheal also called the voting system of these shows doubtful. She said that it is hard to believe that the awards are really given through public voting.
She added that when proper voting does not even happen in our national elections then how can anyone trust the voting system of award shows.
According to her even developed countries like the United States have problems in their voting systems so the voting process in these award shows is completely unrealistic.
