The District and Sessions Court of Islamabad recorded the statements of two more prosecution witnesses in the TikTok Sana Yousuf murder case.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majuka heard the case. Public Prosecutor Raja Naveed Hussain appeared in the court.
The defense lawyers could not cross-examine the witnesses today. The court also indicted accused Umar Hayat in the illegal arms case.
A total of 16 witnesses have been recorded in the case. The court adjourned further hearing of the case until December 20.
It should be noted that on June 2 this year, 17-year-old social media influencer Sana Yousuf was shot dead in her house in Islamabad.
The police registered a case of Sana Yousuf’s murder under Section 302 at the Sambal Police Station on the complaint of her mother Farzana Yousuf and arrested the accused Umar Hayat.
The 17-year-old TikToker was known for her social media activities, with nearly 800,000 followers on her TikTok account and nearly 500,000 followers on her Instagram account.
