The chemical examination report of actress Humaira Asghar, who was found dead in her apartment, has been released. According to the report, there is a possibility that her death was due to natural causes.
Investigations into the mysterious death of Pakistani actress Humaira Asghar are still ongoing. According to officials, nine samples were taken from her body and sent to the forensic lab at Karachi University.
Police sources said the chemical reports from the samples have been received, and they suggest that the death may have occurred due to natural reasons.
Investigators confirmed that no signs of poisoning were found during the chemical tests. During the post-mortem, other samples were also collected for different tests and sent to the forensic lab. More reports are still awaited.
According to the DIG South, the medical officer will officially confirm the cause of death later today.
Humaira Asghar’s body was discovered on 8th July when the court sent a bailiff to vacate her flat after the landlord started legal action. When the door was broken open, a shocking scene was found inside.
Her body was lying on the floor, surrounded by insects. The clothes on her body were in bad condition.
At first, it was believed that she had died about a month earlier. However, it was later revealed that she had actually passed away 9 to 10 months ago.
After her brother received the body, she was buried on 11th July in the Model Town Graveyard in Lahore.
