Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has announced big news for fans of the comedy franchise Golmaal on the occasion of director Rohit Shetty’s 52nd birthday.
Famous Hollywood director Rohit Shetty has announced the making of another sequel to the famous franchise ‘Golmaal’, in which Akshay Kumar has also confirmed his participation.
Apart from Akshay Kumar, 3rd Aids actor Sharman Joshi, who was involved in the initial film of the Golmaal franchise, has also returned, while a teaser has also been shared with Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor and Kunal Kemmu.
It should be remembered that the Golmaal franchise has been around for more than two decades and its first film was released in 2006.
On March 14, Akshay Kumar shared a video on his social media accounts, which showed a glimpse of the film’s set and his new look.
He wrote with the post, ‘Happy Birthday Rohit, this madness has become even bigger and noisier on your birthday. So excited to be a part of this crazy family of Golmaal 5. Now let the ruckus begin!’

In this video, the cast and crew of the film are seen busy shooting, which also shows a glimpse of Akshay Kumar joining the franchise. Along with this, it has also become clear that the shooting of the film has officially started.
Meanwhile, Sharman Joshi also returns to the series with his famous character and is seen reminiscing with other actors.
Later, Akshay Kumar makes a surprise entry and joins other stars in the new installment of this comedy franchise.
According to reports, Akshay Kumar has allocated 18 days from his busy schedule for the shooting of Golmaal 5. Apart from this, the Bollywood players are also preparing for the release of their upcoming supernatural horror comedy film ‘Bhoot Bangla’, through which he is working again with director Priya Darshan.
