Everyone knows that Pakistani drama actress Tuba Anwar was introduced to showbiz by her late ex-husband Dr. Aamir Liaquat. But now, Tuba has given herself the credit for learning acting.
Tuba Anwar married religious scholar Aamir Liaquat in June 2018 and quickly became famous. However, the marriage did not last long. But it became a turning point in her career because in 2021, she started her acting journey and also announced her separation from Aamir Liaquat.
After that, Tuba worked hard and proved her talent in acting. Today, she is considered one of the well-known actresses in the industry.
Some of her famous dramas include Baby Baji, Bharaas, Mohabbat Satrangi, and others. These days, fans are also appreciating her great performances in Mohra and Pal Do Pal.
Along with acting, Tuba Anwar is often seen giving interviews. Recently, she appeared on a private TV show where she talked about the start of her acting career.
Speaking about learning acting, she said that she learned it by herself. She practiced and improved through her work.
She said that her fellow actors also taught her a lot. She believes people learn from their surroundings, and she learned the same way.
Tuba also said that she observes her co-stars’ expressions, gestures, and follows the director’s instructions. She has started watching films to learn more, because acting is an art that gets better with time.
Continuing her conversation, Tuba Anwar also spoke about her debut drama. She said that people often think she has been part of the industry for a long time. The reason might be that she worked behind the camera for many years, which is why her face seems familiar to many.
Tuba shared that she was originally working in the programming department and had never thought about acting. But one day, a woman from ARY who knew her asked her to come for an audition.
Tuba said that she gave the audition, although she felt it was not very good. But after seven or eight months, the same woman called her and offered her a role. At that time, she was unsure whether to accept it or not. Then her mother advised her to give it a try and test her luck.
The actress said that this was the beginning of her journey. She signed the project with the intention to do proper work, performed her role, and enjoyed the experience a lot.
