A US court has cleared famous singer Cardi B of charges in the bodyguard assault case. According to international media, a court in Los Angeles dismissed the case in which Cardi B was accused of misbehaving with a female guard.
The guard claimed that she attacked her and scratched her face with her nails. She told the court that she went through pain and mental stress. Cardi B admitted that there was a heated argument but denied ever hitting her.
The singer explained that the guard started recording her video without permission. She asked her to stop, but when the guard continued, an argument broke out. she said no violence took place.
The court declared the guard’s accusations baseless, dismissed the case, and also rejected the guard’s claim for damages, giving a clean chit.
