Aurangzeb Laghari is Pakistan’s veteran celebrity, having appeared in numerous films and dramas. He is a PTV veteran and so belongs to the golden age crop of actors. He is like an institution for youthful talent, but things haven’t gone as well for the star as they once did.
Auragzeb Laghari is headquartered in Lahore and has not acted in many dramas. He explained in an interview with Urdu Point that he launched his furniture business because he needed something to fall back on. Few dramas are being shot in Lahore, while Lahori actors are underrepresented in Karachi. He replied that was fine because everyone wants to work with individuals they feel comfortable with. He also urged that all new and seasoned actors should start a side business because the government never encourages artists.
