Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar posted a message to his wife, Twinkle Khanna, a on their 25th wedding anniversary, which went viral on social media. In the post, the actor recalled the advice given by mother-in-law, Dimple Kapadia, on their wedding day.

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar and writer and actress Twinkle Khanna have completed 25 years of marriage.

Akshay Kumar’s journey began with ‘Chit Mangini Pat Biya’, the couple decided to tie the knot in 2001 in a simple ceremony attended by just 50 guests.

Akshay and Twinkle’s wedding venue was also different from other celebrity weddings, as the ceremony was held in a boutique.

On the occasion of their 25th wedding anniversary, the 58-year-old actor shared a slow-motion video in which Twinkle is seen dancing to the song ‘Rumba Ho Ho Ho, Samba Ho Ho Ho’.

Along with the video, Akshay Kumar also shared the advice he received from his mother-in-law, renowned actress Dimple Kapadia, on his wedding day.

He wrote in his post that ‘When we got married on this day in 2001, Twinkle’s mother had said, ‘Son, be ready to laugh in awkward situations, because that’s exactly what she will do’.

The Bollywood actor further wrote that 25 years have passed and now I know that my mother-in-law never lies, her daughter prefers to dance instead of walking straight.

He ended his message with these words, 25 years of madness that we both love with all our hearts, happy wedding anniversary to us! From day one to 25 years, my partner who keeps me laughing, surprising and sometimes making me a little nervous.

It should be noted that Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna have two children, son Aarav and daughter Natara.

On the other hand, like every year, this year too, several of Akshay Kumar’s films are ready for release, including Bhoot Bangla, Welcome to the Jungle and Beast.
