What did Bilal Maqsood say to social media users when his daughter’s private photos of her wedding went viral?
Renowned musician and producer Bilal Maqsood has expressed concern over his daughter’s wedding photos going viral on social media without permission and has appealed to users and various pages to respect their privacy.
He said that this happy occasion should have been limited to the family, but the unnecessary spread of a few photos made the situation unpleasant.
Bilal Maqsood, who is the son of renowned writer and humorist Anwar Maqsood, shared an emotional photo on Instagram during the wedding ceremony. In this photo, he was seen wearing matching outfits with his father Anwar Maqsood and both his sons at the ceremony. As soon as the photo went viral, a stream of well-wishes and prayers from fans started pouring in.
He wrote with the photo that his children and their father were with him in this happy moment of his daughter’s wedding. However, this happiness was affected when various social media pages also started sharing other private photos of the ceremony without permission.
In response to this situation, Bilal Maqsood issued a separate message on Instagram, saying that although the guests took and shared the photos with good intentions, they wanted the event to be kept private.
He made a clear appeal that only those photos or videos that they themselves posted on their social media accounts should be re-shared.
Bilal Maqsood finally thanked his fans and pages and reiterated his request for respect for his private life.
It should be remembered that Bilal Maqsood’s daughter Zahra recently got married. The ceremony was attended by close family members as well as Zahra’s foreign in-laws.
