Turkish social media influencer Tarkan Atay, who studied in Pakistan and became famous for creating content in Urdu, has been in the news for a dispute with Maria B.
Tarkan Atay shared a video message accusing Maria B of not paying her in full after a photoshoot with her in Turkey.
Turkan said that in 2025, she contacted him and an agreement was reached on a per-piece fee for the fashion shoot, as photo shoots in Turkey are paid per piece. Turkan said that he sent Maria B a full quotation, shot, produced the content, and posted it on social media, but she did not pay in full as per the agreed-upon agreement.
According to Turkan, Maria B’s team later said that they usually pay by reel, which is different from the original agreement. Turkan says that despite the passage of three months, she has still not been paid in full, so she will never work with Maria B again.
Tarkan also claimed that Maria B deleted the chat messages with him, accusing him of turning the matter over to the manager and keeping quiet. Tarkan said that he has all the screenshots saved.
