The annual craft festival, which showcases the culture, history and civilization of Sindh, is set to begin in Port Grand from tomorrow.
According to details, the three-day craft festival organized by the Sindh government will continue till November 30. Stalls of Sindhi cultural items will be set up in the craft festival.
Stalls of Ajrak, Rilee, handicrafts, leather goods, Hala Jandi, cultural clothes, food, Hyderabadi bangles, palm leaf items, blue clay pots, embroidery, and various Sindhi cultural items will be present in the festival.
A special pavilion has also been set up containing cultural stalls from other provinces. Experts will perform live on Sindhi cultural instruments at the festival. Musical concerts will be held on all three days of the festival in which renowned singers of the country will showcase their art.
Renowned singers Sanam Marvi, Rajab Faqir, Deba Sahar, Mumtaz Molai, Khamarian Band, Nadar Mughal, Khushboo Leghari and other singers will perform.
Famous comedian Asghar Khoso Ali Gul Mallah will also perform. Provincial Minister for Culture and Tourism Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah has invited the people of Karachi to participate in the festival.
Important figures of the Sindh government, ministers, political and social leaders, and consul generals of different countries will also participate in the festival.
