Famous Pakistani actress Marina Khan faced strong criticism on social media after showing lack of knowledge during a TV show.
In a private channel’s program, where actors were asked to comment on dramas and real-life incidents, senior actress Atiqa Odho mentioned actress Humaira Asghar as an example. Marina Khan casually asked who is Humaira Asghar.
Atiqa Odho explained that she was the actress whose dead body was found in a Defence Phase 6 apartment after several months. Later, when the host mentioned the Noor Mukadam case, Marina Khan again showed ignorance and asked who is Noor Mukadam.
As soon as the show clip went viral, social media users strongly criticized Marina Khan. Many called her insensitive and careless, while one user mocked her saying she should get herself checked to see if she has dementia.
It should be remembered that Humaira Asghar’s body was found on July 8 in a flat at Ittehad Commercial, Defence. During court proceedings, when bailiffs arrived at the apartment due to unpaid rent, they broke the door and found her body. The initial post-mortem report revealed that the body was in the last stage of decomposition and the death had occurred around 8 to 10 months earlier.
