Marina Khan made this remark during a TV show where she was reviewing the drama Main Manto Nahin Hoon. Other senior actresses were also present on the show.
During the discussion, Atiqa Odho referred to one of the scenes and asked whom it reminded them of. The host immediately said that the case was similar to Humaira Asghar, while Sami Khan’s character reminded them of Zahir Jaffer from the Noor Mukadam case.
At this point, Marina Khan quickly asked, Who is Humaira?
Atiqa Odho, looking surprised, replied that she was the girl who was found dead in her flat.

It should be remembered that on 8 July, actress Humaira Asghar’s body was discovered in her Karachi flat after a court bailiff broke the door to vacate the apartment.
According to the initial postmortem report, she had died 8 to 10 months earlier, and her body was in the final stages of decomposition.
The exact cause of death has not yet been confirmed, but it is believed that she may have slipped, hit her head, and died from the injury.
She lived alone in that flat, and since the windows opened towards an open field, the smell of the decomposed body did not spread.
Her family lived in Lahore and had little contact with her due to personal disputes.
