Why did Mahira Khan suggest drinking malai tea and eating paratha with her grandmother?

Renowned Pakistani actress Mahira Khan has advised to take time out of her busy schedule to sit with her grandmother and enjoy life by having tea and paratha with her.

She said this while talking to The Express Tribune at an event held in Karachi regarding her upcoming film Niloofar.

Niloofar is being made under the direction of Ammar Rasool, which is based on a novel and the director is also its writer.

Apart from Fawad Khan and Mahira, Madiha Imam, Behrooz Sabzwari and others will also be seen playing roles in the film. Fawad Khan is also the co-producer of this film.

It should be remembered that the pair of Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan gained fame with the drama Humsafar, after which both of them got a chance in Bollywood and then after a long time, a few years ago, both of them were seen together in the film The Legend of Maula Jatt, directed by Bilal Lashari. Drama and film fans love seeing this couple together in romantic roles.

In an exclusive conversation with The Express Tribune, Mahira Khan said that ‘Fawad and his character are romantic and their family does not object to it, but they said that if you are a loving girl, then I will play the role well’.

According to Mahira, there will be more to see in the film along with the romantic story and she hopes that the audience will like it very much.

When asked about working together after a long time, the actress said, “Yes, we are working together after a long time, but it was a lot of fun.” She also praised the other actors and said that we were together on the set and not only loved each other but also respected each other.

Mahira Khan said that the producers of this film are talented and intelligent. They not only brought us all together but are also bringing us into the film. The actress said that the film also has scenes with Behrooz Sabzwari, Naveed Shahzad and Fawad.

Regarding the film, the actress said, “People should take some time out of their very busy world and watch it and enjoy it while having malai chai and parathas with their grandmothers.”

On getting the opportunity to work with Fawad Khan again, Mahira said, “We were a bit different as actors, but since we haven’t worked together for so long, this time it’s been a lot of fun.”

Regarding the fame and love of her pairing with Fawad Khan, Mahira said that this film is very close to my heart because it is a romantic story, a film that talks about love.
