India is currently hosting the ICC World Cup 2023. Despite being passed over by BCCI for the Asia Cup, PCB nonetheless chose to send Pakistan’s National Men’s Team. Due to security concerns, Zainab Abbas, an official presenter for the ICC, has now departed India. Zainab Abbas is the subject of a formal complaint from an Indian attorney, Vineet Jindal, for tweets she made about India roughly nine years ago. The claimed tweet was posted using the username “zainablovessrk” rather than “ZAbbasofficial” at the time.
