Why did the Indian police stop AR Rahman’s live concert?

The Indian police gave an explanation for stopping the live concert of world famous Indian singer AR Rahman in Pune.

According to Indian media reports, AR Rahman was performing live in Pune on Sunday when the police arrived at the scene and demanded to stop the live concert and a video of the incident is also going viral on social media.

Explaining in this regard, the Indian police say that the scheduled time of the singer’s concert was up to 10 pm and that is why they demanded to stop the concert after the scheduled time.

Pune Police DCP Zone 2 Samrtana Patil said that AR Rahman was singing his last song in the concert and while singing he did not realize that it was already 10 pm and the scheduled time of the concert as per Supreme Court rules. is over, so our policemen who were there went to the singer and reminded him after which the singer stopped his performance.

Some social media users are also seen criticizing this move of the Indian police.

In this regard, AR Rahman wrote on the micro-blogging website Twitter that “Thank you for the love and excitement of the fans in Pune last night!”

He wrote that it was a great concert! No wonder Pune is the home of classical music!

He added that I will be back soon to sing with you all again!

It is to be remembered that AR Rahman’s concert took place in Pune’s Raja Bahadur Mill area, the scheduled time of which was from 8 pm to 10 pm.

When the singer exceeded the allotted time, the officers allegedly stopped his performance and interrogated him.
