Actor and host Yasir Hussain has appealed to the public and the young generation to make weddings simple. In a recent program, Yasir Hussain said that people have made weddings complicated by adding too many events. He stressed that weddings should be kept simple.
He advised that the nikah should be held in the presence of close relatives and friends, followed by a simple walima meal. He added that this is all a wedding should be. Giving an example of his friends, Yasir said that some of them, whose weddings are near, are worried about expenses. Instead of being happy, their faces look full of stress.
He said that people should not get into the cycle of five or six wedding events, as it is unfair. On this occasion, Faisal Qureshi added that nowadays even a simple wedding costs around 50 lakh rupees.
Responding to this, Yasir Hussain said that with such a big amount, one can start a good business or even buy an apartment.
