YouTube’s New Monetization Policy – A Big Warning for Pakistani YouTubers

Under YouTube’s new monetization policy, monetization is now at risk for content that is not original or is made using AI tools.

YouTube has announced major changes to its Partner Program Monetization Policy starting from July 15. The aim is to reduce the number of videos that are copied, low-effort, or mass-produced using AI.

This change is a serious warning for content creators who use templates or AI tools instead of creating original content in their videos.

According to YouTube’s official update, the platform will target videos that are copied from others or slightly edited to look different.

Although YouTube has not clearly defined what they mean by unoriginal or reused content, experts believe that this update will mainly affect channels that rely on faceless gaming videos or AI-generated voices and characters.

Even though the policy does not directly mention AI, the update shows that fully AI-based content may not be eligible for monetization anymore. This could also affect the popularity and usefulness of such AI tools.

This is a big concern for many Pakistani YouTubers who use AI or gaming videos in their content. There are several Pakistani YouTube channels that use AI voices or make gaming content without showing faces.

There are also many channels that reuse content or upload unverified material, and they may now lose their monetization because of this new policy.
