The trailer and music album of Bollywood’s most popular and beautiful actress Aishwarya Rai’s Tamil film ‘Puneen Salon 2’ has been launched.
According to foreign media reports, a red carpet launch ceremony of the trailer and music launch of the sequel to the Tamil film ‘Poonen Salon: 1’ ‘Poonen Salon: 2’ was held in Chennai yesterday.
A host of film stars attended the red carpet, Aishwarya Rai, who plays Queen Nandini in the film, looked sizzling in a traditional pink dress.
Trisha, who played the role of Princess Kandawai in the film, walked the red carpet in a blue embellished saree, while Jayam Ravi aka Arulmozhi Varman, who played the lead role of Poonen Salon in the film, opted for a black outfit.
Punyan Salon 2 directed by Mani Ratnam will also feature Vikram and Karthi in lead roles.
Puneen Salon: 2 will hit the theaters on April 28.
It should be noted that the story of the film is based on the life of a great Indian emperor ‘Raja Raja Chola’. The title of Punayan Ceylon was given by the Tamil people to King Raja Chola.
He belonged to the Chola dynasty which ruled the Tamil land from the 9th century to the 13th century.
The film is based on the Tamil novel ‘Punyan Ceylon’.
