Atif Aslam’s song featured in Pakistani actor Imran Abbas’s upcoming Indian Punjabi film ‘Ji Way Sohnia Ji’ has been released.
Atif Aslam has sung the title song of Jee Way Sohnia Ji which is a mix of Punjabi and Urdu.
The song is highly appreciated on YouTube and has been viewed more than 4.7 million times so far.
This is Atif Aslam’s first song in any Indian Punjabi film after two years, earlier in 2022 also a song by Atif Aslam was included in the Indian Punjabi film Rangriza.
Interestingly, while the Indian Punjabi film includes Atif Aslam’s song, the main role of the same film is played by Pakistani actor Imran Abbas.
The trailer of the Punjabi-Indian film ‘Ji Way Sohnia Ji’ was released a few days ago, which makes it difficult to understand the story of the film, however, it is hinted that Imran Abbas’ character is a Pakistani Punjabi, which is an Indian Punjabi. He falls in love with a girl.
The trailer also shows the story of Punjab being divided into two parts due to the partition of India.
While Imran Abbas is shown in the role of a Pakistani boy in the trailer, all his friends are shown to be from Indian Punjab.
In addition to showing the scenes of Pakistan and India’s Punjab including the Wagah border, the film also shows people from both countries living together in the UK.
The film has been directed by Thapar and he has also written the story, except for Imran Abbas, almost the entire cast of the film is Indian.
The film stars Simi Chahal, Mantu Kappa, Udaya Vakati, Aman Bal, and Swaraj Sindhu among others.
