Bol Kaffara Makers About Song’s Success & Being Copied in India

Bol Kaffara, a popular Pakistani song, was released in 2018. The song went viral, breaking popularity records in India and Pakistan. It was the soundtrack for Nadia Afgan’s directorial drama series Parlour Wali Larki, which aired on Bol Entertainment. The drama serial Parlour Wali Larki also starred Kiran Haq, Janaa Malik, and Momina Iqbal. Sehar Gul Khan and Shehbaz Fayaz Qawwal sang a fantastic song. Asim Raza and the Soach Band composed the song. The lyrics were also penned by Asim Raza, an acclaimed musician and writer. The popular song has received over 134 million views. The song was also covered by Indian singer Jubin Nutiyal.

Recently, Asim Raza and Sehar Gul appeared on Ahmed Ali Butt’s show Mind Na Karna. During the show, the performer and composer discussed how the song was reproduced in India without permission or acknowledgment. They also discussed the success of their song.

Speaking about it, Sehar stated, “They copied it and didn’t even give us credit.” The composer Asim stated, “We can claim, but they have copied many of our tunes. Do you think morals still exist today? Sehar Gul questioned how they could know that morality exists.
