Actress and director Angeline Malik is fighting a tough battle with cancer and has already gone through chemotherapy sessions.
Since the first day of her diagnosis, Angeline has kept her fans informed and requested them to pray for her recovery.
She also shared important information for women, especially about the symptoms of ovarian cancer.
Angeline explained that this is a silent disease that is often diagnosed late because its symptoms are mild and easily ignored.
She said many people ask her about the symptoms of ovarian cancer. Only 20 percent of cases are detected in time.
Most women think these symptoms are minor, such as constant bloating, stomach gas, loss of appetite, sudden weight gain or loss, frequent urination, and unusual bleeding.
Angeline added that she was traveling when she first noticed bloating but ignored it. After returning to Pakistan, when the problem continued, she got tested and found out she had stage three ovarian cancer.
She stressed that a simple CA-125 test and pelvic ultrasound can help detect this disease early, and these tests are not expensive.
