Case registered against Taapsee Pannu for wearing a pendant with the statue of a Hindu goddess on the ramp walk

A case has been registered against well-known Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu in Chatripora police station in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, for allegedly hurting religious sentiments.

A lawsuit filed by a man named Eklavya Singh Gore said that the actress wore a necklace with a statue of a Hindu goddess in a short and skimpy dress.

The complainant claimed that Taapsee Pannu wore this necklace in a vulgar dress, the necklace is fitted with a gold statue of the Hindu goddess Lakshmi.

It should be noted that the above mentioned person has also filed a case of hurting religious sentiments against the famous Indian comedian Manoor Farooqui regarding his show in Indore.

Speaking to Indian media, the local Thanedar said that the case has been filed by BJP MP’s son Eklavya Singh Gaur and said that Taapsee walked the ramp at the Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai on March 12. During the 2011, religious sentiments were hurt by wearing a Lakshmi Devi pendant with a short dress.
