The latest Indian Punjabi movie Sardar Ji 3 made a big splash in Pakistani cinemas by earning 45 million rupees on its very first day.
This film, starring Diljit Dosanjh from India and Pakistani actress Hania Aamir, broke records not only for Indian Punjabi films but also for local Punjabi movies.
Interestingly, while the film is very popular in Pakistan, it is facing controversies about the cast in India. Released worldwide on June 27, its unexpected success surprised the filmmakers. It even beat the first-day record of the super hit film Sultan by Salman Khan.
